The Body and Otherwise

Your palm in the hand has gaps and fingers. The gaps are 1 (thumb and first finger gap) and 3 (the gaps between four fingers). Similar is the other hand. 1 and 3. When we bring two hands nearby, then the gaps become 9 and the fingers 10. (I am explaining numbers using e constant).
These two hands together needs to give 9 or 10.
One formula is , 1 squared plus 3 squared. Which gives 10. Pythagoras.
The other formula is 1 plus 3. Let us say it gives 9. This means it is 1 plus 3 equals 3 squared. This expression is similar to Golden Ratio equation.
How about this ?

  1. 1 plus 3 equals 3 squared argument is valid if we consider x as 24th alphabet.
Depends on where your e is.
I have already treated gap between thumb and first finger as different than between other fingers. Then there is gap between hands.
My response is 1 plus 3 equals 3 squared is indeed a golden ratio equation.

    Three cheers !!!

  4. I always believed that Fibonacci equation is the simplest Pythagoras.
The gap is always 1 less than objects on its sides.
The God equation I wrote satisfies both the above.
Hence, the mirroring. Bhai, ok hai na !!

  5. You may wish to simplify 1 + x = x squared., further.
    Put x = 1 + a or x = 1 - b; these will result in interesting results.

  6. The above simplification leads to e series of Fibonacci. The Italy series !! Royalty !! Taylor series stuff !!

  7. Spinning is an important part of nature. Earth spins. It is spinning of sight which caused seeing of finger to gap to finger to gap . . .
Light spins most when strikes a mirror. There is possibly reverse spinning because of reflection back. It is also stationary.
In water spinning is lesser. It also keeps moving.
We drink water in stainless steel tumblers because chromium in steel makes the steel attain mirror properties.
Salem Steel Plant, a unit of SAIL makes stainless steel. Coimbatore has the nearest airport for reaching Salem.

  8. Spin or degree or range is a natural thing. Our range is limited and there in happens the difference of two distinct things.
However one eye is never the same as the other.
This completes "The Body and Otherwise" explanation.

  9. Kirtivasan axiom on degree and rationality
"Thinking in terms of degree is having a rational mind"
    Corollary to above is
"If you are rational you support degree thinking".

  10. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Sir Isaac Newton.
Opposite leads to i squared. Complex number. i squared leads to the idea of spin. And 90 degrees i.e. i, the complex number.
The only question is whether complex number exist or whether it is just a tool.
I realise it is 17th and 18th century knowledge.

  11. My rate of natural striking table with fingers is this.
0.5 seconds from smallest finger to ring finger. 0.5 seconds from ring finger to middle finger. 0.5 seconds from middle to index finger. And 1 second for index to thumb.

  12. To me gaps are definitely squares.
Fingers are numbers. Gaps can also be considered numbers.
In the first case Pythagorean law is borrowed.
In the second case Fibonacci is considered.

  13. If you look at the diagram in the post, for small angles it will seem that AB equals AC.
So one will conclude that DA + AC = DC. Because DA + AB (radius) = DC (radius).

But as a genuine person, I would have thought that treating a line as squares is only valid. I would have guessed Pythagoras law i.e. DA squared plus AB squared equals DC squared.

Moreover, my ability to show Pythagoras on an origami sheet would have reinforced my thoughts for a rectangle too.

Another point is, Is Pythagoras law only valid for Fibonacci series numbers?
Remember Fibonacci series is till infinity. And a lot of combinations of three consecutive numbers are possible.

The point that "Is Pythagoras law only valid for Fibonacci series numbers?" is a matter for research, in my opinion.

  14. An attempt to see Pythagorean law in straight line because of treatment of line as a function of squares increases curiosity. And seeing the real Pythagorean law.
But straight line curiosity of Pythagorean law explain addition, division, multiplication, prime numbers etc.
