I have altered my plans of comic making. I won't be doing color comics. But black and white.  This will reduce the cost and also the margin can be more.

So black and white it will be for my comics.

I am practicing daily and am not sure whether I can improve considerably.  But what I am hoping for is confident lines. Accuracy. Correctness. 

Human figure 80 percent satisfaction.  Animals 60 percent satisfaction.  Objects 70 percent satisfaction. Outdoors 50 percent satisfaction.  Indoors 55 percent satisfaction. 

I shall combine inking too in my daily practice.  

Combining human, animals, objects and outdoor/indoor all together in one frame has to wait. When I get 80 percent satisfaction in individual drawings of each of the above.

How to use Deming's PDCA in improving quality of drawings quickly?

Deming was a master philosopher and quality guru. He preached the PDCA cycle.

I feel the Check and Act should be immediate.  This means drawing similar drawing in different perspectives.  So that the error that you did in one drawing is quickly taken care of in the next drawing.  Also I like doing this and I find them challenging. 

What about beginners?

Beginners can do sphere, cone, cylinder and cube practices in different perspectives.  All the objects of the world are made of a combination of sphere, cone, cylinders and cube.

You can also experiment by keeping the sphere, cone, cylinder and cube in varying sizes, positions and practice drawing. 

Then you can begin shading the sphere, cone, cylinder and cube.

Then draw shadows.

Then improve 3d effect in 2d paper.

This I believe will improve your drawings quickly. 

My business model

I intend to get into comic industry.  My father always encouraged us to become an entrepreneur.  He worked in a private company all his life. I have imbibed his dreams of becoming an entrepreneur and I shall make efforts to fulfill them.

I shall be practicing perspective of man, woman , kids and also animals like cow, horse, camel, dog, cat, elephant, deer, lion, tiger. Objects like table, chair, sofa, bed, music system, computer, utensils shall be practised.

I shall practice inking.  I have ordered waterproof black ink for that. And also Artline Drawing System gel pens which is black. Waterproof ink is necessary because I shall be later coloring with Staedtler Luna watercolor pencils and be using a wet brush. 

I shall be coloring with Staedtler Luna watercolor pencils. I shall be using only 12 colors. The standard colors. This is because I want my comics be able to be printed in printing press of smaller cities too.

I have ordered French curves from Amazon for drawing speech and thought balloons in communication of characters. 

I plan to teach measuring behavior fundamentals.  This is of pi. Fairness in society.  And unfairness in society. And what is the correct behavior.

Nine points to becoming a comic artist

I am a big follower of PDCA. I shall not be just Doing practices in above nine points; but shall be Checking them; and Acting for exactness. I believe in golden ratio inside me and I hope to find the right remedy for correction and improvement. 

Meanwhile I googled for comic publishers in India. And there are many in Delhi.  Chak de phatte !! Balle balle !! (Punjabi euphoria). If I am lucky and good enough I shall knock the doors of these publishers.  And get an assignment.
