Plans ahead

 

My selfie business model is likely to get me 500 rupees in a day. Drawing portraits using selfie pictures.  Now 500 rupees is sufficient for breakfast,  lunch and dinner with tea and snacks twice a day anywhere in India.

Food no problem. 

I have theories on art, mathematics and music. I hope to develop my thoughts on these areas and become more approximate. 

I am endeavoring to cooperate and make better models for my company SAIL to run its business.  Coordination is of utmost importance and I am striving day in and day out for this. God promise. Unfortunately my Microsoft credentials have gone a waste and I had to refresh.  Anyway I kicked my electrical experience too at Bhilai. As a compensation my 1,x,x squared concepts are strong.  And also gamma functions.  So Maclaurin series is understood.  And sine and cosine are electrical engineering.  I may be pardoned.

Let's hope a better world of things happen for SAIL.

Is my commissioned work feasible?

 I always was in the impression that I must have an alternate source of income. To feel secure. To get confidence.

In this context I thought a commissioned work in portrait drawing is feasible. But is it so?

A colored printout of an A4 sized portrait will cost Rs.10/-. Then, will a customer pay Rs.500/- for my portrait drawn with the help of technology? 

Here are some thoughts.

1. A printout is a mixture of the three basic colors. While a portrait drawn using my method is colored with property of light and property of water.

2. There is an element of artwork and a customer is expected to pay Rs.490/- extra for this.

3. It is possible to color the dresses and background with watercolor pencils, thereby increase the value of portrait drawn. For example, I suggest a light chocolate brown shirt and creamy yellow background for the below portrait of Nana Patekar.

4. I plan to suggest a number to the customer. This is because I am strong in numbers. And this suggested number will help the customer in better mental balance.  For example, I suggest constant e and the number 8 for the below portrait of Nana Patekar.

The present day portraits

The present day portraits are not a journey from 0 to 100. But 90 to 100. Because already technology exists for going from 0 to 90 in the form of things like Brolaviya mobile stand, DaVinci eye app and all.

The journey from 90 to 100 is very exciting.  There are guys from all over the world who are at 99 level. Both in color and monochrome.  I am at 92 in color and 95 in  monochrome.

My drawings are filed

I file my drawings. I punch holes using punching machine and file them. This is for A4 size art.  Apart from that I have drawing notebooks too. Then I have printouts of Lou Darvas cartooning course.

Bollywood. . . an imagination

 

I recently saw "No time to die"; and I thought Indian movies are way behind in quality.  Be it camera, Action, editing, art direction, post production,  usage of computers.  Even "Bahubali" is only 66% of the quality of "No time to die". 

Buck up boys.

I can in imagination play a role in music. Songs. But I don't know to play instruments.  I don't have a troupe.  I am not backed by big banners.

I can contribute possibly in screenplay too. I have a good sense of logic for writing screenplay. If suppose someone asks me to write a screenplay for "God of small things ", I feel I can do a decent job. But my pace and style is likely to be of Adoor Gopalakrishnan. 

I want bollywood to concentrate on art direction first. It is likely to be costly.  But Reliance and big companies should help bollywood in art direction and sets. 

Let's improve.  And make great movies.
